Sui
SUISui and its object-based model
Sui is a blockchain for applications and digital assets. Its object-oriented approach to representing state can allow independent operations to be processed differently from transactions that share the same resources. SUI is the network’s native token.
Technical throughput and the user experience of an application are related but distinct. Hardware, infrastructure reliability and the type of transaction all influence practical performance.
Fees, staking and applications
SUI participates in network fees and staking arrangements. Applications can involve trading, digital objects and other on-chain services. The economic demand for the token depends on the actual rules and recurring use of those services.
A high count of operations does not automatically measure distinct users or the value they receive. Incentives and automated transactions can influence activity figures.
Circulating supply and valuation
A schedule of tokens entering circulation can change supply and demand without any change in the network’s technical design. Market capitalisation combines price with reported circulating supply, not just user numbers. Compare Solana and Ethereum for other application models, while remembering that their execution and fee rules differ.
