Is Datisto free, and do I need an account?
Yes. The public terminal is free, requires no login and is a non-commercial project by developer Dariusz M. Read About Datisto to learn more.
Are all prices live?
No. Freshness depends on the instrument and available source. The observation time and displayed status matter more than the page connection alone. Markets with defined sessions can show the last traded price over a weekend.
Why is USD different from USDT?
USD is the US dollar. USDT is the Tether token designed to track dollar value. A trading pair quoted in USDT is therefore not a direct USD quote and can differ slightly from it.
How do Simple and Pro charts differ?
Simple mode selects a period of price history. Pro displays available candles by the duration of one interval, with volume and indicators. If a source supplies only price points, the terminal does not manufacture candles from them.
Why does MAX cover different dates for different assets?
MAX means the entire available history of a particular series. It does not promise the same starting date for every instrument. Coverage can be limited by the source or by when trading began.
Where are my watchlist and preferences stored?
In your browser’s local storage. They do not automatically follow you to another device. Clear this website’s data to remove them. A shared chart link can carry some settings in its URL.
Can I share a chart or report an error?
Yes. Sharing retains the selected view and available settings. You can also save a chart as PNG or embed it as a widget. Report errors to info@datisto.com with a link, instrument and observation time.
Is the content investment advice?
No. The figures and explanations are informational and educational. They do not consider your circumstances, experience or ability to bear losses. See the terms of use.
