LEO Token
LEOLEO and exchange services
UNUS SED LEO is a token associated with the iFinex ecosystem, including Bitfinex services. Its utility can include fee-related benefits under the applicable terms. The exact service and qualifying conditions matter more than the broad label “exchange token”.
LEO ownership is not equivalent to owning shares in the exchange operator. A token benefit is different from a legal claim on the company’s assets or future profits.
Supply rules and participation
Token supply and market expectations can be affected by the ecosystem’s reduction and purchase mechanisms. The existence of such a mechanism does not guarantee a particular market price or the same outcome for every holder.
Consider where the token trades, the liquidity available for an exit and the conditions required to obtain benefits. Trading activity can be concentrated in a limited number of venues.
Context for LEO charts
The USD price series tracks the token itself, rather than business revenue or customer assets at an exchange. BNB and WhiteBIT Coin offer other exchange-linked models. Similar marketing categories do not establish the same supply, governance or holder rights.
