Hyperliquid
HYPEHyperliquid and HYPE
Hyperliquid combines blockchain infrastructure with a trading environment. HYPE is its native token and has roles within that network. The market price of HYPE is separate from the value of positions that traders open on the platform.
A platform can support different products with distinct settlement and risk rules. Spot balances, leveraged positions and the native token should not be treated as equivalent exposures.
Trading activity and network economics
When assessing use, distinguish platform trading volume, open positions, fees and HYPE’s own market volume. Large leveraged trading activity does not mean the same amount of capital was invested in the token.
Token demand depends on the applicable fee, staking and supply rules. Infrastructure performance and the concentration of participants also matter when interpreting growth.
Following HYPE in context
Price can react to expectations for the trading service, changes in token supply, liquidity and wider market conditions. Compare Uniswap for another exchange mechanism and BNB for a different network-and-exchange ecosystem. Similar business themes do not create identical rights for token holders.
