Reading portfolio history in native crypto pairs
Choose an actual original spot pair, confirm the unit and read its daily values in the shared portfolio history. USDT and BTC remain native units, with visible gaps and original inputs.
1. Prepare actual historical holdings
In Portfolio open Historical value and keep Unified history. Load completed UTC days; the roster includes positions closed today. Today’s quantity is not projected into the past.
Each holding and accounting unit has one source family. Stock, an original Coinbase series, a selected Binance pair and No source cannot overlap for the same member. Adding a pair does not rewrite original stock or Coinbase prices.
2. Review the whole original pair catalogue
Choose Load current Binance market. For a particular own holding select Binance · select exact pair and use Search original Binance pair to find the exact symbol. Review the base asset, quote unit and original catalogue input, then Select pair for that member. Its count belongs to a particular capture; it is neither downloaded history for every crypto nor a guarantee of current listing.
Available choices are admitted spot pairs quoted in USDT or BTC, including original names in other scripts. This does not add USDC. A matching ticker does not prove identity: confirm that one own unit means one unit of the selected pair’s base asset.
3. Load originals and apply the whole draft once
Review all source families, exact pairs and unit confirmations. Load selected original histories obtains only the selected unique sources, at most eight pairs; it does not download the whole catalogue or issue a separate request per day. Loading and draft edits do not calculate a report.
After reviewing the original price inputs choose Apply unified history. One result supplies the shared chart, complete table and inspector. New pair assignments stay in private working memory; they are not automatically saved into older price mappings and do not change the journal.
4. Read the original day and all time limits
Quantity and cash remain at the last millisecond of the UTC day. A Binance candle belongs to that exact day and its original close time plus one millisecond is the following midnight. This separate price boundary is neither the candle start nor an equity exchange close.
Only the completed matching day from the originally captured rolling window of up to 90 days is used. A missing day has no older replacement price. The unfinished candle stays in the original input but does not value the portfolio. Binance requires positive original OHLC; another source family’s zero rule is not transferred here.
5. USDT and BTC are separate native units
Value is the exact dated quantity times original close in its actual quote unit. Switch the chart and totals to USDT or BTC without mixing different units on one axis. Cash is counted exactly once. Cost PnL requires known cost in exactly the same unit.
USDT is not USD and BTC is not a dollar. Without a separately evidenced historical bridge their base conversion remains unavailable. CNB converts only actual supported fiat units; the known portion is not the whole total. Native pair value remains available even when base conversion has a gap.
6. Verify the same source and download the whole interval
Verify the same unified history checks the same financial result, original catalogue and every selected history without replacing prices. An expired or removed original requires a new explicit load and review. A late old reply cannot overwrite the new draft.
Whole unified history JSON or CSV preserves all days and members, the original unified report once, the whole original catalogue once and every complete selected price input once, including all original fields and excluded candles. Selecting a day or unit does not shorten the file. Login and live authority do not travel with it.
7. Reference value is not return or then-known knowledge
Source provenance, capture and exclusions are inspectable in member detail. A specific spot pair’s price is not a global aggregate price, executable offer or proof of your asset mapping. History acquired later does not prove what the application knew then.
Deposits and value changes are not automatically investment profit. This view does not calculate TWR, CAGR, performance drawdown, tax or historical FX PnL and does not add unrecorded corporate actions.
