Connect your spending, inflation and growth assumptions with required capital. This is a constant model, without a success probability.
After withdrawals begin, you can use the separate capital withdrawal model. Open withdrawal model · Simulate your return distribution · Monte Carlo

Today’s annual spending grows by your inflation assumption each year. Target capital is future annual spending divided by your withdrawal fraction. Coast discounts this target using your effective annual return. Annual contributions are added after growth at year-end.
This is a deterministic model before the target date. It does not simulate retirement withdrawals, longevity, market fluctuations, return sequence, taxes or fees. It neither determines a safe rate nor calculates a success probability.
Decimal strings with 120-digit precision; outputs have at most 18 decimal places. The annual contribution rounds up to two places and that same amount is used in every row.
