Value your recorded portfolio with original prices and CNB reference FX
Use deliberate unit assignments, one explicit fixing day and a presentation currency to read a coherent private reference value with honest coverage, original prices and original FX evidence.
1. Confirm your own units before using a source price
Load saved assignments or choose a current source for each own instrument and explicitly confirm what one recorded unit means. A matching symbol alone is not a verified broker or listing identity. The conversion panel can use these deliberate assignments directly; a separate valuation run is not required.
A portfolio containing only recorded cash can use the same conversion panel without a purchased asset or price assignment. Choose the economic cutoff, the exact CNB fixing day and CZK, EUR or USD, then Apply. The report uses your account balances and the two original fixing sources; it creates no holding. Cash remains signed, and a missing required conversion keeps the complete total unavailable. Once the portfolio has an open position, its price-source workflow applies again.
Asset prices remain original USD source values with their actual coordinates and captures. A daily Yahoo close is not a live quote, and its corporate-action basis remains explicit. An absent, too-old or unsuitable price leaves that position unavailable rather than substituting cost basis.
2. Choose a presentation currency and one exact fixing day
Choose CZK, EUR or USD and explicitly enter one supported2026 CNB fixing day within the source-input window. This changes only the report presentation. The portfolio accounting base, original transactions, cash balances, quantities and cost basis remain unchanged.
The exact selected fixing day is separate from each asset-price day and from source capture. A weekend or missing fixing stays absent; an earlier rate is never inserted. Source: CNB. The reference conversion assumes no executable trade, spread, fees, settlement rate or tax treatment.
3. Read coverage before interpreting a total
Recorded quantity times the exact original price gives the original-currency position value. The report then converts eligible positions and signed cash through the actual required CNB legs. Complete portfolio value is available only when every open position and cash balance has its necessary inputs; a known portion is labelled as such. Unsupported cash currencies are not treated as zero.
Finite monetary inputs and rates are combined as exact integer fractions. Rounding occurs only at each declared output boundary to18 decimal places, HALF_EVEN, with rounding flags. Totals use exact aggregate fractions before their final rounding, so displayed rounded rows are not silently reused as exact total inputs.
Allocation includes both holdings and cash in the chosen presentation currency. Holdings group by your recorded asset identity; cash groups by its original currency across accounts. With complete coverage the denominator is the whole reference portfolio value. Otherwise percentages describe only the known portion, and every group retains its covered/total count. This is a value allocation, not ETF look-through or economic currency exposure.
Allocation percentages use unrounded group values and the exact common denominator, then round independently to18 places HALF_EVEN. Rounded percentages may differ slightly from100 in total. Any known negative position or cash exposure disables ordinary allocation percentages and bars; signed values remain readable. A zero denominator has no percentage. JSON and CSV include these same groups, denominator, coverage, method and rounding flags.
4. Verify inputs and retain a coherent private report
One bounded source-input query and result manifest retain all selected price and FX originals. The private calculation manifest binds that exact result to your current ledger revision and economic inputs, assignments, chosen day and presentation currency. The price and FX Passports show original values, units, evidence and clocks; the report distinguishes derived amounts.
Full JSON/CSV reports recheck current owner, session, portfolio and source download access. Editing the draft or changing economic inputs retires the old report instead of letting a late response overwrite your selection. Calculations stay in page memory and are not written into the financial ledger or publicly shared caches.
My target allocation compares your own weights with this same whole valuation. Enter every instrument and cash target with an exact100% total, then explicitly review. Drift is current weight minus target in percentage points; gross adjustment is target amount minus current amount. Incomplete coverage, negative exposures and nonpositive whole values do not produce a whole-portfolio target model. At most50groups are supported. Costs, taxes, executable quantities and orders are not included. Separate Target model JSON/CSV exports retain the exact model and source identity. Unsaved drafts and calculated models remain temporary page memory. Your own weights have a separate reviewed Save to the private account and explicit Load into draft, available even before price valuation. Loading never runs a query or changes the ledger. If the saved groups no longer match the current portfolio, review a fresh complete target set rather than silently dropping a group.
5. Keep value separate from investment performance
A reference value using selected current source prices and a chosen fixing is not historical base-currency profit, TWR, XIRR or a tax result. Original-currency unrealized differences still require their own known cost basis. Deposits and withdrawals remain external cash flows, not investment gains.
6. Choose an economic valuation cutoff explicitly
Use the current recorded portfolio by default, or prepare an exact UTC cutoff and apply it explicitly. Applying reads a separate admitted projection of the currently recorded journal at that economic instant, with its own quantities, signed cash and reversal treatment. Changing a date does not relabel current holdings as historical. The fixing day, source coordinates, source capture and economic cutoff remain separate.
Then choose the supported fixing day and presentation currency and calculate explicitly with the existing source assignments. Prices use the latest admissible original source coordinates within the existing input window; choosing an old cutoff does not extend current source-age or coverage limits. An unavailable price or fixing remains unavailable, while the actual recorded holdings and cash stay readable. Yahoo daily Close coordinates do not establish that a close was executable or already published at an intraday cutoff.
Read the chosen cutoff alongside the complete input identity, coverage, position and cash values and allocation. Full JSON and CSV verify that same held cutoff again; export does not silently return to the current projection. Applying another cutoff or resetting to current inputs retires the previous report and late replies cannot replace the new choice. Current saved target weights and their editor remain separate from the dated report.
This is a retrospective reading of the currently recorded ledger using eligible original inputs, not a reconstruction of what you or the market knew then. It is not a historical wealth curve, TWR, XIRR, profit calculation, executable trade or tax conclusion. The date control writes no transaction, source price, fixing, target or accounting balance.
7. Include crypto while retaining original price and fixing evidence
The same valuation can use explicitly assigned original V4 crypto references beside supported equity sources. Search the actual captured asset list and check the exact CoinGecko ID and one-unit assertion. Old assignments remain their original source. At most eight selected price series are used; the full captured crypto cohort is retained separately as their original evidence.
One versioned input result binds the complete crypto capture, selected other prices and the two original CNB fixing series. Their source updates and capture clocks remain independent. The chosen fixing day is not the crypto capture time. An absent fixing is not carried from another day. A crypto price outside its one-hour application age limit or later than the economic cutoff cannot value that position; departed and null members never borrow an older price.
Read native price, converted amount and coverage separately. Partial known subtotals never stand in for complete wealth. Full valuation JSON and CSV include the same complete source artifact, selected unit relationships and conversion evidence, with current account and source access rechecked. Saving source assignments remains separate from saving a price snapshot or a calculated report.
This is a guide to Datisto. Private features require sign-in and access to your own data. Personal models use your assumptions; availability and permitted use of source data are checked with the particular result. This is not investment advice.
