Append another explanation and primary source to an existing private report. The original submission and actual review status remain separate.
Open your own report and read the information request
In My data correction reports, choose your submission. A fresh account check admits the original explanation and link, current status, report revision and recorded review steps. If status is Needs information, read the actual request in history. Received means a recorded submission, not correction approval or a processing promise.
Supplements are available only for Received, Needs information and Under review. Rejected or duplicate reports accept no new evidence. Up to 50 supplements remain separate immutable records with their own dates and revisions.
Write, review and explicitly confirm
Write 20–8,000 characters of additional explanation and a primary-evidence HTTPS link. Choose Review supplement. Inspect the exact text, link, target private report and expected revision. Confirm and append evidence sends the write. Back to draft sends nothing; ordinary detail-proof renewal does not erase drafted text.
The original explanation and link are never overwritten. Appending evidence advances the report revision but does not itself change review status, publish a community post, correct a price or endorse the evidence. Acceptance is confirmed only after a verified receipt and fresh own detail contain the same accepted supplement.
Revision changes, expired verification and uncertain outcomes
Private detail has short-lived verification. Expiry conceals content until renewed verification; ordinary renewal of the same report preserves its draft. If the revision changed during review, verify it and review the supplement again. Account, report, route or visibility changes invalidate held controls and late responses.
An outage can leave acceptance uncertain. The exact retained request in browser memory includes original text, link, revision and identity. Verify by retrying the same supplement sends only that request and can verify its original acceptance without a second record. There is no automatic replay or new request substituted for an uncertain one. Cancel waiting cannot roll back an accepted write. Closing the whole browser can lose temporary memory; verify your own history first afterward.
