Finding typed public catalogue objects
Header search shows actual public catalogue records alongside assets, AI offers, sections, articles and guides. An object’s type defines the result; it is not automatically a financial quote.
1. Enter a name or symbol
Enter at least two characters of a name or symbol in Asset, model, area or article… in the header. Public data catalogue loads after a short typing pause; an invalid or oversized query is not sent to the catalogue. Catalogue search accepts 2–120 characters.
Up/down arrows select a result, Enter opens it and Escape closes the dropdown. Clear search removes the query. Other search branches retain their own group labels.
2. Distinguish actual types and status
Catalogue · … groups distinguish company, stock listing, AI model version, AI model offer, country and region using each record’s actual type. A hit shows its exact identity, optional symbol and Active, Planned or Retired status. A model offer is not a model version; neither a country nor an Energy section link is an energy zone.
The catalogue need not contain every object family or the whole market. An empty search does not mean a zero price or prove the object absent outside this catalogue. An exact known identity already shown as an actual market card may be omitted as a duplicate; a matching name or ticker does not prove identity.
3. Open the appropriate detail
Open Data Passport opens the exact catalogue object. AI offers use Open model offer and model/version records use Open model detail; supported AI identities may redirect to their native AI view. Planned and retired records use View record. Catalogue status does not establish a current price, an available time series or source-data permission; the detail checks its own conditions.
Nonfinancial objects receive no invented stock quote or benchmark. AI offers · OpenRouter and Working articles · not approved remain distinct from catalogue types and approved publication.
4. Catalogue failure preserves the query
Public data catalogue has its own loading, no-match and failure states. Retry catalogue repeats the current query; a failed branch does not relabel other results as its replacement. A changed query or language invalidates older responses so they cannot replace newer search results.
5. Public metadata is not a private index or permission
This branch reads bounded public catalogue metadata without account cookies. It does not index private portfolio names, watchlists, notes, results or credentials. It creates no new provider index, downloads no prices for search and grants no rights to further data.
This is a guide to Datisto. Private features require sign-in and access to your own data. Personal models use your assumptions; availability and permitted use of source data are checked with the particular result. This is not investment advice.
