Compare annual macro across the US, Czechia and euro area
Choose common years and compare annual inflation, GDP growth or unemployment across two or three economies. The chart, exact table and complete export preserve the same original values.
1. Choose economies and apply the draft
Below the macroeconomic table, the default comparison of available economies is prepared from the same already loaded World Bank batch. Apply comparison confirms your selection of two or three economies, indicator and five or ten common years without another source request.
Editing a draft does not relabel the last applied chart or export. The new query takes effect only after Apply. A refreshed source requires a new Apply so that an old result cannot appear to analyse new inputs.
2. Read the same indicator in common years
Annual CPI inflation is neither the latest monthly inflation reading nor HICP. Real GDP growth is an annual change rather than quarterly growth. Unemployment is the source modeled ILO estimate as a share of the labour force. The euro area is the original EMU aggregate, not an average of selected countries.
Lines share a percent axis. They are neither an index rebased to 100 nor cumulative growth. Select a common year with the mouse or keyboard; the inspector shows each economy, its exact original value, status and footnote. The table retains the complete applied period.
3. Keep gaps and source clocks visible
A null value in an existing source row differs from a row absent altogether. Both break the line and remain empty; zero is a real value. Neither a preceding year nor another economy fills a gap. Source statuses remain intact without an inferred claim of finality.
The year denotes the statistical period. Source database update, application capture and cache expiry have separate clocks. They do not establish the precise publication time of an individual value. A local calculation never relabels expired cache as fresh data.
4. Keep the whole applied result
CSV and JSON share the chart and table result ID. They preserve applied economies, indicator, years, every cell including gaps, the manifest and complete original normalized inputs. Switching table, chart or inspection year removes nothing from the result. Export produces a file; it creates neither an account-saved analysis nor a public share.
This is a guide to Datisto. Private features require sign-in and access to your own data. Personal models use your assumptions; availability and permitted use of source data are checked with the particular result. This is not investment advice.
