Build a crypto screener and retain its exact result
Combine your numeric conditions over one complete captured CoinGecko selection of up to250 assets. Inspect verified matches, retain an original Snapshot and return to it without replacing its data with current prices.
1. Identify the captured selection
The screener uses a single actual captured CoinGecko selection of up to250 assets in USD; read its actual member count. Older saved originals retain their twenty-member source. It does not cover every coin, exchange, stock or fund. An asset absent from this selection has not been rejected by your conditions. Provider updates and Datisto capture times have different meanings; neither establishes the first publication time or a guaranteed live quote.
Price is an aggregate reference, rather than an executable offer on a particular market. Market cap is in USD and the original rolling volume covers twenty-four hours. Selecting a seven-day change does not turn that volume into seven-day volume. Percentage changes are source-reported values, not a newly calculated total return.
2. Enter exact numeric rules
Choose price, market cap, twenty-four-hour volume, source rank or the source-reported twenty-four-hour, seven-day or thirty-day percentage change. Up to twelve conditions are combined with AND: every condition must hold. Greater than and at least differ at the boundary; equality compares the exact decimal value. Use a decimal point and no grouping separators. A blank input is not zero.
A hypothetical market-cap threshold of 100000000000 means one hundred billion USD in this field. It is an illustrative personal condition, not a valuation recommendation or a claim about how many assets currently qualify. Select the sorting field and ascending or descending order separately; sorting changes order, not membership.
3. Apply and inspect the actual outcome
Editing conditions prepares a draft. Apply explicitly evaluates the selected captured inputs. An already displayed result remains tied to its applied conditions while you edit; it is not silently relabelled as the unsent draft. Read the applied rules next to the match counts before saving or using the rows.
Matches, excluded assets and unknown outcomes are separate. Missing required values are not treated as zero or as a match. Open the explanation for other assets to see which conditions failed or which fields were unavailable. A successfully evaluated selection with no matches is valid; an unavailable source does not prove that no asset qualified.
4. Check the Passport and export scope
The table contains authoritative matches in applied order. The Asset Passport opens the underlying original point and its provenance. Financial numbers remain exact source decimal strings even when a localized display groups digits. Missing values remain missing.
CSV contains the same ordered matches as the table. JSON additionally retains all original source inputs and the authoritative conditions/outcome document. The full source input count is not the match count. Pages only divide the displayed matches; CSV retains all ordered matches. Export, original reopening and later reads require the current source permissions; saving a Snapshot does not grant permanent access beyond them.
5. Save and return to the original
Review the proposed name and exact result, then confirm Save. The original Snapshot binds its rules, source selection, outcome, ordering and actual recorded save time. In Saved screeners, search by name, identity or condition and sort by current view modification, name or source window. The library shows current mutable view metadata; the original link independently verifies the immutable saved recipe and result.
Opening an original does not recalculate it with current prices. Edit as a new screener transfers only the rules into another draft. Inspect its newly selected source and use Apply explicitly. The old original remains a record of its own captured selection, not a promise that the same assets qualify later.
6. Add verified matches to your own list
Add matches to a list opens a separate review. Choose a new list name or an existing own list and check the specific matches to copy. Up to100 matches start selected; when there are more, none are preselected. Search changes only the displayed matches and preserves your selection. Clear the selection or adjust individual checkboxes; no first100 is copied automatically. Before confirming, review selected versus all matches, actual additions, assets already present and the destination membership after saving. Existing members retain their order, and missing selected entities append in original result order. The complete source result stays unchanged. A list can contain at most100 distinct assets: if the resulting union exceeds this capacity, uncheck items or choose another destination. When every selected match is already present, the no-change review sends no write.
This action copies entity membership once. It does not buy assets, edit portfolio quantities, remove former members or automatically rerun the screener. Future condition monitoring is a separate explicit rule; an ordinary watchlist is not an automatically synchronized screener result.
7. Save dashboard settings for crypto, stocks or ETFs
The dashboard market screener is a separate workspace with a captured selection of up to250 cryptocurrencies,30 stocks and10 ETFs. After Apply conditions, use Save applied settings, choose a name, review the exact conditions and confirm. My analyses and Return to work reopen the group, filters and ordering as a draft. Confirm Apply conditions to evaluate the available current batch. This saves settings rather than the complete original Snapshot described above. Review a changed saved version again; a removed entry cannot be adopted, and expired verification requires account re-verification first. Renewing verification of the same version preserves a valid review.
The eight browser presets remain local and are not copied automatically. Watchlist only uses the current local browser watchlist; saved settings do not retain its members. Rename and remove account settings in My analyses. An unconfirmed save can retain the exact request across a reload of the same tab when session storage is available. Restoration does not send it: verify the account and explicitly retry. Closing the tab does not guarantee this recovery.
This is a guide to Datisto. Private features require sign-in and access to your own data. Personal models use your assumptions; availability and permitted use of source data are checked with the particular result. This is not investment advice.
